Is the lug cap airtight seal?

The metal lug cap are widely used for glass jars and bottles sealing, especially for jam, honey, sauce, kethcup, pickles, and other food canning. Lugs with a skirt supprt it to easily hold onto a jar’s thread for that airtight seal.

All lug cap with a plastisol liner provide a hermetic seal that works perfectly with hot and cold fill contents. Most important, it's ok for pasteurization or sterilization. 

Generally, the lug cap available sizes are 38mm, 48mm, 53mm, 58mm, 63mm, 66mm, 70mm, 82mm, 100mm, 112m, and it can be in various colors  with or without a safe button. The top side can be with print or as a blank closure.
